For my InDesign class project, I designed a mock annual report for the Downtown Montessori Academy (DMA), choosing Lego blocks as the central theme. Legos, beloved by both children and adults, symbolize the versatility and creativity in building various structures, mirroring the educational approach at DMA. The theme aligns with the Montessori philosophy of sensory play, emphasizing how DMA provides students with the foundational "bricks" they need to construct their future. This design concept visually and conceptually represents the building of knowledge and skills in a playful yet purposeful environment, appealing to readers of all ages.
