The Wonders of Egypt
During one of my co-op classes at MATC, I completed this project as part of a course that trained me in Adobe Premiere Pro. This project served as a training tool for mastering video editing techniques. Incorporating footage from my trip to Egypt and music inspired by its beauty, I showcased a variety of video editing techniques. These included audio editing, seamless transitions between video and audio, precise adjustments using keyframes for both photos and film footage, and the use of various typefaces. For the soundtrack, I used scores from multiple sources. Music from "The Mummy" (1999) was composed by Jerry Goldsmith and orchestrated by Alexander Courage, with copyright held by Universal Studios. Additionally, music from the BBC Egypt Miniseries, produced by Clare Isaacs and recorded by the Warsaw Radio Orchestra, was utilized, with music rights held by the BBC. A score from the film "Gods of Egypt," composed by Marco Beltrami and owned by Lions Gate Entertainment, was also incorporated. Disclamer: As this video was created as a training tool for educational and instructional purposes, it falls under fair use guidelines outlined in Section 107 of the Copyright Act. Activities such as teaching and scholarship are considered valid uses of copyrighted material.
