The Adventurer
As part of my Photoshop class project, I created a prototype magazine cover inspired by my love for travel and fascination with vintage travel posters from the jet age. With an upcoming trip to Egypt that summer, I chose Egypt as the central theme for the cover. Drawing inspiration from the prominence of Egypt in the 1920s, particularly with the discovery of King Tut's tomb, I incorporated elements of Art Deco in the font to pay homage to that era. Although I initially explored this concept, I ultimately opted for a different direction and went with the Travel Japan design for my final magazine project, as showcased on the Travel Japan page under Projects.
